December 13, 2009 in Auctions | Comments (0)

There is a huge world out there waiting for you to buy the latest wholesale merchandise items from distributors who are waiting for you with their arms open to embrace your business arrival and make their profit themselves. All you need to do is hit a search on Google, Yahoo and MSN and you may start seeing some of them in action.

Every single new video game suppliers ads themselves to an existing list of a source list or should I say, a random list on many auction sites for pennies. Each wholesale source has something new and unique to offer to the resellers and retailers. Even if the product is old, you are likely to find good bargains where there is too much competition. It is reality in 2008 and like many have said, it will get tougher as competition arrives.

If you keep on looking for wholesale merchandise for a bargain, you need to keep yourself updated with the latest list of legit distributors, wholesalers, suppliers and discount clearing warehouses online. If you have been a fan of auction sites, it will be rude to ask you if you have bought or sold something on eBay.

As you may already know, eBay is one of the most popular online marketplaces to find merchandise at discounted prices. You can find quite a few of video games suppliers in action as of today selling in-demand accessories and hot games that never become a fad.

Many times you should be able to easily find several products even at the cheaper price than a seller selling almost the same used item or new unit. You can order it in bulk and you can sell it locally or you can sell it on eBay and find a distributor or supplier that does not advertises himself greatly online.

There are new eBay distributors that join the eBay community every month. If you make periodic searches to look for certain product prices on a monthly way, you should see the new crowd or should I say, the new competitors?

Alibaba is yet another important online portal that offers level playing field to wholesalers and retailers. This site carries wholesale suppliers and distributors from the south East Asian countries like India, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, among others. However, it is not limited to the same and you are likely to find sellers from all over the world.

This site is important if you are thinking of being an importer yourself for local varieties from other parts of the world. If you are a proud Puerto Rican like me you could also think of culture things to sell to other parts of the world to family and friends of America, among other countries for those who feel joy in having rare and limited items, the city of Loiza, Puerto Rico being of great example.

If you are worried and thinking about getting targeted customers, maneuver yourself to the $20.00 featured list collectable category of eBay and get back to me later with your results. Test if it would be a seller where there is established targeted traffic, if it does not sell trash the minimum investment and move on to the next likely hit!

Moreover, if you want instant results to search through various online auctions sites to find the cheapest price for any particular product, you can download a free tool from “Auction Bargain Finder” that searches marketplaces and search all the bargain prices to locate the most economic price for any particular product.

However, you have to remember, this tool does not guarantee that the actual seller would be what you actually need. You shall have to search on your own to find the most suitable video games suppliers in order to get wholesale merchandise on the net. Word of caution, just be sure you like the niche and have the drive to continue when competitors arrive. It will either be yours for a few years or toss the project!

November 30, 2009 in Auctions | Comments (0)

With more and more people getting online, many of them are searching
for information on specific products that they are interested in
purchasing.

Thus one of the best possible ways to turn a profit online is
to find wholesale sources that will drop-ship thes products directly
to your customers who come to your website for more informatation.
Also you could set up ebay auctions to sell these products.

BUT….

Most of the wholesale sources ebooks, list of 10,000 drop shippers
etc. that you see being offered online just don’t cut it. Either
they are full of links that lead to websites that are no longer
active, lead you to wholesalers who carry junk products (dollar store
items, as seen on TV stuff), or the price are too high for you to
make any profits.

Actually most of the time the so called wholesale sources you find
in these ebooks and lists are nothing more than “middle men”. They
are buying from the real wholesalers and then reselling the products
to you at a marked up price so they will make a profit.

But what if you could cut out the middle men and find real wholesalers
of brand name products at prices that will be profitable for you.
Well you can do this but it won’t happen by depending on those outdated
ebooks and drop shippers list.

You need to find these sources your self. It could be as simple as
finding a porduct manufaturer or supplier and simply asking them if
they can drop ship the product directly to your customers. Some times
you may have to negotiate a deal to get them to drop ship for you.

Either way you’ll make more money because you can get the in demand
brand name products you want at a good price.

http://www.wholesalecentral.com

http://www.andale.com – You can search for products here and it will
tell you the average selling price for of particular type of item
based on what is selling on ebay.

NOTES:

Always get a sample of the product you want to sell before you
actually start selling it to your customers. You need to inspect
the quality of the merchandise and make sure that your wholesale
supplier is actually selling the item or brand name that they say
they are.

This can be easily accomplished if your supplier sells individual
items.

If you supplier only sells in bulk try to get them to send you a
sample. If they won’t do this they may not be a company that you want
to deal with especially if they are located overseas.

And never pay for your items by wire transfer, if you supplier ask
you to do this it is just best that you walk away because wire transfers
are not traceable and if your supplier isn’t trust worthy you will not
be able to get your money back.

Sourcing eBay Wholesale Products

November 26, 2009 in Auctions | Comments (0)

Are you trying to start your own eBay business but finding it more difficult than you expected?

If you are then you will probably be interested in finding eBay Wholesale Products. It can be very difficult to find the products that you want to sell at prices cheap enough where you can make a profit. Lots of wholesalers take advantage of eBay sellers by charging inflated prices. This makes it very difficult to actually make a profit on these items.

Searching on the Internet

The Internet is an extremely valuable source of eBay wholesale products and you cannot ignore it. There are some great places on the Internet where you can buy products in bulk. You can even shop on eBay itself for wholesale deals. If you want the best cost savings then you should consider dealing with suppliers in China.

Importing from China isn’t actually that difficult and as long as you spend some time learning what to do you shouldn’t have any problem with this. You need to teach yourself how to import products and then you should be able to do this easily.

The most difficult part will be to find out what you need to do to import products into the UK. If this is your first time importing then you might want to hire the services of a professional import broker.

Finding Suppliers

When finding suppliers in China this is very easy and a great source of eBay wholesale products. There are plenty of sites that can be used to track down suppliers you like.

Of course it can take a couple of months to get your products made and shipped to you. This means that you will have to plan well in advance to make this possible.

When importing from China it is essential that you are very careful. While it is possible to have some good experiences and make large profits there is also a risk that you will be conned. It’s a good idea to make sure the manufacturer knows exactly what you want. You should also request samples to ensure that everything is right and up to scratch.

If you look hard enough then you should be able to find some reliable and honest Chinese suppliers who will be able to provide you with the quality products your business needs to survive.

If you want to make large profits from eBay then it’s important you are able to source quality eBay wholesale products. You don’t actually need to import unless you want to and have enough money to do so. You can actually use wholesalers based in the UK. However eBay is very competitive and this can make it a challenge to make a profit. Importing and sourcing eBay wholesale products from China might be a solution to this problem.

Importing does require a significant investment and is slightly risky. It does however make it possible to earn some of the biggest profits possible because you can get the products as cheaply as possible.

Wholesale Clothing Suppliers – 5 Wholesale Rules-of-Thumb to Abide to Part 1

November 9, 2009 in Auctions | Comments (1)

Ever wished you could be like one of those eBay powersellers, earning profits by selling online? The truth is, anyone can be successful in online businesses, especially on eBay. The question is not on ‘who’s doing it’ but rather on ‘how you do it’. Here are some rules-of-thumb that most successful online entrepreneurs have been adhering to.

Rule No.1 Research your market thoroughly

Deciding on which product to sell can be troublesome, but not difficult. List down numerous possible products that you can sell. Perform a market research on each of them respectively. You can research on eBay to find out how many people are searching for the products (demand) and how many products are on listings (supply). Look at the sale-through rates of products, while noting the products’ prices. If the price is too high, there will be less clicks or views on that particular item and otherwise, if it is too low. By using this information, sum up a rough market price for the products you intend to sell. Perform a keyword search at Overture or Wordtracker’s free keyword tool to roughly learn how many searches are done daily on the particular keyword relating the product you intend to sell.

Rule No.2 Add up all costs

Believe it or not, most amateur sellers online tend to calculate their profits by subtracting the retail price sold with the cost of purchasing the items from wholesalers. Eventually, they get hyped up from the ‘net profit’ derived from this calculation. They failed to include in additional costs such as eBay fees, shipping fees, insurance payments, PayPal or credit/debit card fees, packaging costs, advertising costs and so on. What they did not realize was that these costs can be a real killer on your net profit. After taking these costs into consideration, if the net profit is still reasonable, then the product is worth selling.

Rule No.3 Reliable and Verified Suppliers

Like what I have mentioned in most of my articles, suppliers are very important. Most sellers concentrated too much on gaining customers and failed to pay any attention to their suppliers. Suppliers are equally important as well. Management gurus came up with various new suppliers management models to manage their suppliers, in addition to customer management such as the CRM (Customer-Relationship Management) model. Fraudulent suppliers or unreliable ones are those we intend to keep away from. Here are some tips to help verify your suppliers:-

Check if the website has a full business name and address with company registration number. Verify that they provided a real telephone number by giving them a ring. Do not accept mobile phone numbers alone. All registered companies should have a land line. Proceed to whois.sc and check on the suppliers’ domain registration. Check their details. The details there should tally with the details provided by them on their website, such as phone number and address. Check their domain expiration date. Most companies should have registered their domain names for a few years in advance. Test their customer service by communicating with them. A company with poor customer service is usually not the ideal ones.

Rule No.4 Chinese Suppliers Gives the Competitive Edge

Nowadays, Chinese suppliers are required to really make huge profits online. China has the ability to manufacture in big bulks while maintaining extremely low manufacturing costs. Therefore, you can buy extremely low and sell high, thus making profits. However, the downside of Chinese suppliers are extremely risky. Therefore, you should always insure yourself with shipping insurance and pay using secured payment methods. Also, you can indulge into wholesale supplier directories where suppliers are reviewed by previous customers. Choose reputable Chinese suppliers.

Rule No.5 Closeouts and Liquidations are Not Always a Good Option

While closeout and liquidation sales may seem to be a good option, they are not always viable. Some closeout and liquidation supplies may seem to good to be true, still, it is safer to obtain the reasons for closeouts and liquidation sales. Sometimes, closeouts and liquidations may be due to the fact that the products are not suitable to be sold anymore. Make it a point to specifically ask whether broken items or returns are included before you buy.
